Job Title: AV/VC Installer Programmer

Description;
InchBrook Audio Visual is a leading Corporate Audio Visual Systems Integrator with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town . We are seeking an experienced installer / programmer to join a young and dynamic Projects Team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the programming of AMX and or Crestron control systems as well as the installation and commissioning of TANDBERG, Polycom and SONY videoconferencing systems.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing schematics and be able to interpret them accurately. He will further be experienced in the management and successful completion of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing installations in the corporate environment. Further responsibilities will include liaising with clients, contractors, vendors and third party suppliers for the successful completion of installations.

Experience in the handling of general tools is essential and the candidate will be expected to have mastered the art of accurate soldering of various cable terminations. In this position the candidate will need to be able to work under extreme pressure, within strict time constraints and to the satisfaction of the client. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and report writing skills. Essential to this position is the ability to ensure the correct and accurate programming and commissioning of installations.

The successful candidate will be expected to have an in-depth technical understanding of installation processes and equipment as well as a thorough understanding of project stages and procedure. Furthermore the candidate will have sound knowledge of both Audio Visual and Video Conferencing equipment and functionality.
